(I am releasing this drawing i did last year November of 2005.)
I once knew a woman who sells plastic flowers in the market of libertad, pasay. She's the friendly sort. She always had a story to tell to anyone who's willing to listen. I remember jokingly telling her once, that if the pearl earrings and bracelet she wear were stolen while she hawks her wares, the loss might not even be covered by the total cost of her plastic flowers. Without batting an eyelash, she told me, "everything i sell is plastic. as plastic as the jewels i wear."
I don't see her in the market anymore and i think i should have called this "Plastik" instead.
